NMSBA Seeks Proposals for 2014 Leveraged Projects

The New Mexico Small Business Assistance Program leverages the talent and other resources of federal labs in our state to benefit New Mexico small businesses. “At no cost to the business, small businesses with a technical challenge can seek assistance from lab scientists or engineers for projects that require testing, design consultation and access to special equipment or facilities.” Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories are accepting proposals January 14th through February 4th.

NMSBA ANNOUNCES CALL FOR LEVERAGED PROJECTS

Technical assistance awards of $20,000 to $100,000 available 

The New Mexico Small Business Assistance (NMSBA) program at Los Alamos and Sandia national laboratories is currently soliciting proposals for leveraged projects for calendar year 2014. NMSBA leveraged projects allow multiple small businesses that share technical challenges to request assistance collectively. Leveraged projects fund lab staff time and incidental materials at a range of $20,000 to $100,000 (the sum of the assistance for which each participating company is eligible) and must be completed within one year. Proposals must comply with NMSBA guidelines, eligibility requirements and meet the criteria outlined in the call. Deadline for submission is September 12, 2013.
