Greetings!

I’m glad to share that your New Mexico Technology Council is growing (we now have over 100 paid members – yay!) and that increases the impact we can have in growing New Mexico’s technology business community. As part of that we’re glad to announce new member benefits to help promote the work that you do and grow New Mexico’s tech business community. 

MEMBER EVENTS
We’re now making it possible for business members and individuals who are running peer and affiliate groups to post their own events here. There are a few simple guidelines:

• Please note who’s producing the event (we want to give credit where credit is due)
• Only one event each month (for starters)
• Only events that are directed to people in tech and business
• As we promote these events, we ask that members share and share-alike and promote some of ours as well

Interested in participating? Let us know. (NMTC reserves the right to unpublish events we deem somehow ‘inappropriate,’)

MEMBER DISCOUNTS
We’ve also begun enabling a discount program for members. Part of strengthening our tech business ecosystem is reinforcing our local business connections, and we know our members provide some of the best services and products available locally. A few member businesses have already stepped up and we’ll be announcing the first set of discounts available by the end of the month. Would you like to offer a discount? Let us know.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES
We don’t have an announcement to make here, but we are exploring ways to make it easier for NM business and talent alike to connect for employment opportunities. If you’d like to participate and/or have suggestions, please let us know!
