At the Tech Council we’ve been fans of the work of both Startup Weekend and the Startup America Partnership. Last year we worked with local entrepreneurs and partners at Technology Ventures Corporation and WESST to help launch Startup New Mexico, the local chapter of the SA partnership and this year we worked with partners to bring Startup Weekend to New Mexico for a very successful event in Santa Fe (and another weekend coming June 21-23 in Albuquerque!).
These organizations have now formally joined forces to form “Up Global” and leverage the networks of startups within Startup America and the entrepreneurs and programs of Startup Weekend. We plan to continue to work with these great programs and hope we can help connect our communities with these additional resources.
