Happy Hours & Holidays!
Thanks to all those who made last week’s Joint Tech Association Social — the first in what we hope to be many more collaborative events among New Mexico’s leading tech associations. This week we have some more informal meetups, with TechScene in Rio Rancho on Tuesday Night and ABQ Web Geeks at Albuquerque’s Anodyne on Wednesday. Still on our list is also the Quelab’s TechMas’ open crafting event on Tuesday (12/20) where they provide some equipment and expertise to help tech-oriented hobbyists achieve their visions for gadgets, gifts, ornaments and more. Visit them at http://www.quelab.net
Looking for a holiday gift — and maybe to help out Albuquerque Public Schools? The APS Community Foundation has an allotment of 600 “Lion King” tickets for Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 that they’re selling as a fundraiser at www.apseducationfoundation.org. There’s a modest ‘upsell’ from general public ticket prices, but they’re great, specially selected seats and buying now will help you they avoid the rush. More info at: http://www.aps.edu/education-foundation/news-from-the-foundation/lion-king-tickets-going-fast
Mostly though, we want to send our best holiday wishes to you and yours – and our thanks for making this a great community.
