Annemarie Henton, AED’s Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, was recognized for her outstanding work in both economic development and community leadership.

Annemarie is named the first recipient of Albuquerque Business First’s Jennifer Riordan Woman of Influence Community Impact Award. According to an article published by Albuquerque Business First, the selection committee evaluated the nominees on criteria inspired by Riordan: relentless passion, fierce champion of women, sparks community leadership, bold optimism, and impeccable integrity.

Additionally, Development Counsellors International, an economic development trade organization, honored Annemarie with the Top 40 Under Forty Economic Developers award. This is the only award of its kind to recognize young talent in the economic development industry.

Congratulations, Annemarie! Much deserved recognition for your commitment to economic development and passion for New Mexico.
