ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., February 6, 2014– The New Mexico Technology Council (NMTC) announced the winners of its New Mexico Women in Technology Awards for 2014 at a breakfast celebration in Albuquerque. Nine women were honored, leaders from throughout New Mexico in IT, Social Media, Education and Entrepreneurship.
2014 award winners were:

  • Deborah Peacock, CEO & Managing Partner, Peacock Myers PC
  • Karen Pena, APS Technology Teacher, Cochiti Elementary School
  • Julianna Silva, Albuquerque Regional Manager & Marketing Director, WESST
  • Dorothy Stermer, Manager, Sandia National Laboratories
  • Janet Webb, President, Webb Design Inc
  • Dr. Karin Wiburg, Distinguished Professor, Learning Design and Technology, NMSU
