The New Mexico Technology Council is taking a more active approach to policy as we enter 2013. Among the items we’re considering support for is the “New Century Economy Jobs Agenda” from the state’s Economic Development Department, partially developed at a special town hall/summit with New Mexico First.
Their legislative package includes items like:
- Single Sales Factor
- Corporate Income Tax Reduction
- Local Economic Development Act (LEDA)
- Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP)
- Capital Outlay Reform
- Spaceport Informed Consent
- MainStreet Investment
