Interview with Andrew Padilla, Owner
Established in 2019 | Single employee
At the confluence of knowledge and insight.
What does your company do/what industry do you represent?
Data management consulting with a focus on management of data engineering projects and teams.
What makes your company or organization unique?
The ethos of Datacequia lies in its name. Inspired by how acequias are managed in New Mexico, we believe that data is not owned by any single entity, but is a shared resource which yields its greatest benefit through collaborative management that enables a community to thrive in a community to thrive in an otherwise harsh and ever changing environment. This perspective is inherent in the solutions we provide our customers.
Is your business growing and do you plan to hire in the next 6 months?
Yes and yes.
How has the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way you do business?
As a new business, it has affected our ability to engage prospective customers but has not impeded our ability to service existing customers.
Describe where you see technology in year 2030.
We see digital knowledge moving beyond its current state as a by-product of applications and transform into a product itself that can be composed in any number of ways. The ability to easily assemble and use composable knowledge will drive the advancement of all industries worldwide.
