Anne Marie Kadkhodaian, wife, mother of 5 children between the ages of 13 and 20 and a professional in the world of Technology Sales. Every day, Anne Marie strives to strike a positive balance between her amazing family and career. (Not always successful!!)
Professionally, Anne Marie has spent the last 27 years in Technology Sales and Solutioning. She is currently a Director for DellEMC where she leads a team that designs solutions enabling businesses to leverage technology and ultimately creating market advantages. She focuses on technologies found in the Enterprise and Data Center designs; Cloud technologies, Data Analytics, Data protection, Compute and Network. She most recently played an integral part of the largest IT Merger to date when Dell and EMC came together this past September.
Over the last 27 years Anne Marie has been a Seller and a Buyer of technology. She has developed a 360 degree view of technology advantages, allowing her and her team to be a trusted advisor to their customers. She has been employed by major corporations, vendors and start up technology companies. She has also spent time in the office of the CTO where she had an opportunity to run a PMO and manage software development teams. Her multiple diverse roles has converted into deep industry knowledge, and her brand is defined by her history of identifying best in class talent and creating high performing teams.
Throughout the last six years, Anne Marie has taken on a passion where she and DellEMC introduce STEM careers to those that may not have considered STEM a career path. She has participated in a number of events across the country where her teams have introduced data analytics in a fun way to children in middle school. She has sat on a number of panels talking to young women in high school and their freshman years of college to realize career opportunities that are part of the STEM education paths. Anne Marie attributes her interest in technology over 27 years ago to the people that were in her life. Her father ran the data center for Dun and Bradstreet and she was fortunate enough to get a summer intern at Dun and Bradstreet for her 4 years of college.
Anne Marie holds a Business Degree in Information Systems from University of Northern Colorado. She has never followed the norm and this is demonstrated by her love for gymnastics. Anne Marie competed at an elite level and was fortunate enough to get a scholarship to University of Northern Colorado despite her height of 5’9’’!
In her free time, Anne Marie is on the Board of Directors for a non-profit foundation, Together4Tanner. The foundation’s purpose is to raise charitable funds to investment in future recreation projects for youth in the city of New Bern and Craven County, North Carolina; as well as, supporting five academic scholarships for scholar-athletes in the same area.
Anne Marie is an individual who is a proud to be a woman and respects the positive impact diverse groups have on her professional and personal life. Being around people who are different from us makes us more creative, more diligent and harder-working.
