The next meeting of the NM SOLIDWORKS User Group is Wednesday December 9th at The BioScience Center, but that’s only part of the good news! Read to the end to learn about the other exciting events.
First, here is the information regarding the speakers for the normal (5:30pm) NMSUG meeting. Please RSVP for this event using the REGISTER button above.
Marie Planchard is Director of the Education Portfolio at SOLIDWORKS. She is responsible for global development of content and social outreach for the SOLIDWORKS products across all levels of learning including educational institutions, Fab Labs, and entrepreneurship.
Marie’s presentation will be: “SolidWorks Community: Growing with My SolidWorks – Entrepreneurs – Education – Certification”. Learn about My SolidWorks content, the new SOLIDWORKS Entrepreneur Program, the state of SOLIDWORKS in education and getting SOLIDWORKS certified.
Todd Blacksher has been using SolidWorks since 2002, and has been a CSWP since 2005. He is the founder and President of the SolidWorks User Group of Nebraska (SwugOne), and is currently the SWUGN Representative for the Southern US.
Todd’s presentation will be: SOLIDWORKS . . . Saving TMCO Money
This is essentially a “Tips & Tricks” presentation with some of my favorite time-saving techniques that I use on a regular basis. The presentation is a brief overview of everything from Installation to Custom Properties to getting the most out of the User Interface to Sheet Metal to Sketching to . . . you name it. There is a wide variety of techniques from Beginner to Advanced, so everyone should learn something from this presentation, and hopefully have fun at the same time!
