The Power of Mindful Business Practices
Wisdompreneurs are hosting a historic event on the power of using mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence based practices in business. It’s called the New Mexico Mindful Business Intensive and it happens on Friday April 22nd in Albuquerque.
There is a growing body of research that show these practices to be effective for increasing profits, enhancing diversity, growing productivity, decreasing expenses and increasing employee satisfaction and retainment. It’s due to findings like this that many leading organizations – like Google, Aetna Insurance, Harvard Business School and the Seattle Seahawks have implemented programs based on these principles.
The New Mexico Mindful Business Intensive brings together nationally known leaders in the field of applying these practices in business contexts as well as leaders from within New Mexico to help you figure out how to apply them in ways that make sense to the realities that New Mexican businesses face. The event will focus on real world applications.
Speakers include Lee Zlotoff, the creator of MacGyver. Lee just announced a deal with Lionsgate to make a major Hollywood MacGyver movie. He also wrote for Hill Street Blues, Remington Steel, and many other popular series. He’s one of Hollywood’s most consistently creative writers. Lee is going to share his secrets for accessing your creativity in a low stress and consistent manner.
Another internationally known speaker will be Catherine Bell, the author of The Awakened Company. Catherine has built Bluera into a top 500 Canadian company and also supported her husband, Kent Brown, in implementing the principles of the book into his company – and it has grown into the leading renewable energy company in Canada.
In addition, we will have successful New Mexico business owners on hand – like Cherie Montoya of the award winning Farm and Table Restaurant in Albuquerque who uses Emotional Intelligence practices in her business – and plenty of experiential exercises to make sure you leave with a clear idea of how to get started implementing practices that make sense for your startup or organization.
Our friends at Wisodmpreneurs have done everything possible to make this experience affordable to New Mexico business owners no matter where they are in their business development journey. And, if you know or someone you know would benefit from the Intensive but can’t afford the regular fee, volunteer and scholarship opportunities are available.
We invite you to come join the conversation at this historic event. Information atwww.wisodmpreneurs.biz
