On Wednesday January 25th, from 12pm – 1pm Arizona time, Eric Miller, the Co-Owner of PADT, Inc. will be presenting on how ANSYS simulation software is helping new entrepreneurs and startup companies to shorten their time to market and reduce their manufacturing costs.
This webinar is free, and only requires that contacts register to attend beforehand.
The presentation will include a discussion on:

  • What simulation is and how it can be applied to product development
  • How partnering with PADT and ANSYS can be crucial to the success of a startup
  • How using ANSYS software will help deliver ideas to market more rapidly and cost effectively. Thus saving money, time, and increasing the probability of success.

Eric will also be presenting information on the ANSYS Startup Program, which provides entrepreneurs with access to various ANSYS multiphysics simulation products bundled and priced specifically for early stage startup companies.
This is not a sample version of ANSYS software, it is the full version of a few specific programs that benefit startups the most.
Acceptance to this program is limited to companies who are not current ANSYS customers and meet a variety of qualifications.
Those who are eligible will also receive access to the ANSYS Customer Portal for marketing opportunities and customer support.
Additional information regarding the ANSYS Startup Program (Including the requirements) can be found on the attached flyer and at:

Eric Miller is a co-owner of Tempe based PADT, Inc., where he is involved in providing tools and services to companies who design and manufacture physical products. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and has lived in Arizona since 1986. He started his career focusing on the application of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) to simulate turbine engine components. Over the years he became recognized as an expert user of the ANSYS software tool and in the development of custom software to automate the product simulation and design process.
As a co-founder of PADT in 1994, Eric was able to also pursue his interests in IT, graphic design, additive manufacturing, database programming, and small business management. As both PADT and the use of advanced engineering tools grew, Eric became exposed to dozens of different industries and developed his broad understanding of the application of technology for product development and manufacturing.
After over three decades in the industry, Eric is often called upon to write and speak on simulation, design, and 3D Printing as well as on startups and the high-tech sector. His involvement in the startup community includes angel investing as well as mentoring and serving on steering, screening, and advisory boards of a variety of technical organizations and institutions.
Eric’s Startup Experience:
Not only is Eric an experienced engineer and business owner, he is also a well versed speaker and writer on all things tech, as well as a strong advocate for helping today’s startups become tomorrow’s industry leaders.
Eric has held numerous positions in a variety of entrepreneurial organizations, including everything from an Angel Investor and member of the screening committee at the Arizona Technology Council, to a member of the BioAccel Council of Advisers, an organization that was created to provide funding and business expertise to help develop early stage scientific technologies that drive local economic growth.
Along with this, Eric helped to create the PADT StartUpLabs at the Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation (CEI) at Gateway Community College in Phoenix Arizona. This organization was created to provide the Arizona physical product startup community with high quality 3D Printing and design resources.
