We had a blast at our 3rd Scrappy Startup Challenge and are pleased to announce that five of the competing companies walked away with tickets to SXSW Interactive!

All 9 Scrappy Startup finalists gave passionate, compelling pitches in front of an audience of over 80 tech enthusiasts, under the beautiful setting of Skylight Santa Fe.
Our judges were all incredibly impressed with the contestants and what they brought to the table.
Our expert panel of judges were brutal, in the best way. Every company received valuable feedback on their pitch performance, business model and market potential.
According to John Ayala of BuckleDown Systems, “I really enjoyed the chance to pitch before out of state judges to get fresh thoughts on my company. Being awarded second place among such strong contenders was a huge bonus! Some say the Q&A was brutal, but that was my favorite part, interacting with the judges to give them the information they sought about my company. I highly encourage others to try it. Can’t wait for SXSW!”
